Frequently asked questions

We have provided answers to some of the most frequently asked questions. If you don't see your question answered in this section, please feel free to call or email us and we'll be happy to help.

Do I need to be present when the skip bin arrives?

No one needs to be present when a skip is delivered, but it's helpful to provide clear placement instructions when placing your order so the delivery driver can best accommodate your location preference. Skip bins are delivered on large trucks so we also request that you clear the right amount of space to fit the skip bin, as well as clear access to the area. We can help you choose the right skip bin size to ensure there are no hurdles to getting it to you easily and safely.

Can I change the waste type after I have received the skip bin?

Yes, please just give us a call or reply to your confirmation to let us know and we will let you know if there is any price difference to be paid.

Can I extend the rental period of my skip bin after delivery?

Absolutely! If it seems like you will need the skip bin for longer than your initial hire period, simply give us a call to arrange an extension. A small additional charge may apply.

Can the skip bin be on the street in front of my home?

It depends on the street you live on, access to your property and any disruptions it may cause neighbours or passersby. You may require a permit from your local council. Our sales staff can advise you on the requirements in your council area.
