Our services
We can take any general solid waste such as builders waste, demolition waste and dry commercial and industrial waste. We can receive scrap metal at no charge.
All of the waste we receive is sorted to achieve the best resource recovery rates possible, with all metals, clean or treated wood, plasterboard and cardboard being sent off for recycling or energy recovery after being separated.

Waste collection
Recycle Central offers a large range of waste collection options for large-scale construction projects, including:
- Skip bins
- Hook lift bins
- Site bins with forklift tynes for tipping into larger bins.
- Front lift bins for site waste, such as office and lunch room refuse
- Bulk haulage of general solid waste soils (GSW), acid sulphate soils, or asbestos-contaminated soils.
All skip bins, hook lift bins and site bins are certified for crane lifting.
Onsite recycling
Onsite recycling and resource recovery typically occur during the demolition and remediation stages before the commencement of construction. Materials recovered and recycled onsite include:
- Clean wood, which is source segregated to be transported to our recycling partners for processing
Concrete and brick, which is crushed onsite to produce recovered aggregates, which can then often be re-utilised on the same project site, saving the substantial cost of importing aggregates
Recycle central has vast experience crushing concrete onsite in strict compliance with DA requirements around dust and noise minimisation.
Construction waste
Recycle Central provides a seamless solution for the management of all types of construction waste, including:
- New materials such as wood, metal, plastics, packaging and plasterboard.
- Hazardous legacy waste from the demolition stage.
- GSW Soils
- Acid sulphate soils (ASS)
- Potential acid sulphate soils (PASS)
- Asbestos-contaminated soils.
All new building material waste is processed at the company's Kurri Kurri resource recovery facility to achieve maximum recycling rates.

Strata waste management
We efficiently, reliably, and sustainably provide waste management services to strata managers of multi-unit residential complexes and commercial buildings. Our services are guaranteed to comply with statutory and building regulations and achieve the maximum possible waste diversion from landfills.
Working closely with strata committees and property managers, we manage all commercial and household quantities of waste whilst offering a clear, transparent, and simplified pricing structure.

Recycled Aggregates
Central Waste Station produces and sells a range of recycled aggregate products, including DGB20, 40mm minus and 65mm minus. These high quality products are produced to specifications and are independently tested and certified.
Waste Disposal
Central Waste Station offers a convenient and easy-to-access service for disposal of waste materials. We can take any general solid waste such as builder's waste, demolition waste and dry commercial and industrial waste.
Skip Bin Hire
We provide a range of skip bin options for your commercial and construction domestic needs. Our skips come in a wide range of types and sizes and are available for delivery in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and The Hunter regions.
