Builders' Waste
Builders' waste includes new or used construction materials, such as wood, metal, plasterboard, PVC piping, and packaging.

Single Waste Type

Concrete or Brick
Concrete and brick waste can be either surplus new material or from demolition or strip-out of old materials. The steel reinforcement bar is acceptable.

Clean Wood (non-treated)
Clean hardwood, softwood, particle board or plywood, but not MDF. Wood can have screws and nails but must not have other materials attached to it and must not be H3 or H4-treated pine or creosote-treated wood.

Clean Scrap Metal
Scrap metal can include ferrous steel or non-ferrous metal such as brass or copper, including plastic-insulated copper cable. It can also include white goods and other metal appliances or machinery.

Prohibited items

Many materials are prohibited from being disposed of at our facility for regulatory and/or safety reasons. This list of prohibited items covers the most commonly encountered of these but is not an exhaustive list. We respectfully request that you do not attempt to bring any of these materials to our facility. All arriving loads are subject to a two-stage inspection process, and prohibited items are rejected. Certain prohibited items must be recorded in a Rejection Register and may be provided to Government Regulators on request.
